New home, almost Yule time... I finished performing "Little Women," and one of my friends who has I think the most beautiful voice ever said I have a good singing voice. With honesty. And I got to sing out, without covering my voice with a stupid accent for the first time.

Sarah missed me at rehearsals and practice all the time, so I'm taking a break from that. Our cosplay selection is growing, and seriously, since moving, we are definitely getting along better-- I think that little-bitty poor excuse for a house was making us irritable. Sure, we still fight, but I'm getting better at controlling my...er, control issues. Now if she'd just teach me to drive.... :-_-:

I think... I'm getting a burst of brave again, too. Like, not being afraid to be honest... still don't think I can complete go on some levels, but.... getting better. And this new computer is keeping me qauite happy as well-- I think being able to update everything and not have to run to the library all the freakin' time would help anyone's mood.

Trying to get back into my artist groove, and I'm reading books again. I used to go through 2 novels a day, stopped for the longest time, now I'm at about 4 novels a week. Love books. Fantasy world, woot. And sketching in my spare time... new sketchbooks have that overwhelming motivational power... must.... fill.... blank...pages...

Hopefully, I can work on some of my other DA things... I have ideas blossoming.

Oh, and I have a scheduled D&D game once a month. I think being a bad ass MALE ranger is helping that bravery aspect. Ah-hah, and I kicked zombie butt last time... around 12 kills, FTW. And I took down a mage or two. Hah. Now, if I could convince the halfling in our party to give me that rod of wonder... wanna play with it! ...A rhinocerous flew out last time. I'm hoping to do something random against the vampires our DM says we will be campaigning against soon enough.

Oh, and I've officially lost 28 lbs since last year. Down to 137 lbs! I was trying, so this is good.

Now, if I could stop the mind-numbing pain I'm feeling in my... um, woman parts this time of month, and my more tolerable relatives would visit, Life might just about be momentarily perfect.
